Aims and Scope

ANALES DE QUIMICA. International Edition is the RENEWED official journal of the SPANISH ROYAL SOCIETY OF CHEMISTRY that has been a chemistry publisher since its foundation in 1903. ANALES DE QUIMICA. International Edition (referenced in Chemical Abstracts, Current Contents and Science Citation Index) is a bimonthly publication devoted to all fields of modern chemistry and addressed to the international chemistry community. Our aim is to publish original research papers, short communications and reviews of scientific quality, concerning experimental and theoretical aspects of both classical and interdisciplinary branches of chemistry. Abbreviated Instructions to Authors

Types of contributions
Original papers of high scientific level are published in the form of Short Communications (important preliminary results requiring rapid publication), Articles (full research reports) and Reviews.

Short Communications should be limited to 1500 words or the equivalent space in illustrations and tables. Articles are not limited in length, however, authors are requested to omit routine data, which must be included in Supplementary Material. Reviews are published only by invitation.
All contributions should be preceded by an Abstract (100-200 words) in English and Spanish and a maximum of six appropriate keywords. For no Spanish-speaking authors, the publishers will provide a suitable translation of the English abstract.
Articles must be structured in the following sections: Abstract; Introduction; Experimental; Results and Discussion; Supplementary Material (if necessary); Acknowledgments (if necessary); References.

Submission of contributions
Authors should submit a three copies of their manuscript in a correct English (including figures and tables) and three copies of the supplementary material to the Editor:

After the final acceptance of the contribution, authors should submit a disk and a complete hardcopy of the final revised manuscript. Submissions on disk should be made on a double-density or high-density 3.5" diskette using any of the more popular word-processing packages. The disk format, word processor format, file name(s) and the title and authors of the article should be indicated on the disk.

Authors will receive proofs, which they are requested to correct and return as soon as possible by express mail or telefax.

Authors will receive, free of charge, two issues of the Journal in which your article appears. Additional offprints may be ordered at prices shown on the offprint order which will accompany the proofs.
